Playdough play is such an enjoyable experience for children of all ages and a great craft for those rainy days. Children will sit for hours moulding and creating the dough into unusual faces, creatures and shapes. It is wonderful for their imagination and great for small children's fine motor skills as they roll, cut and shape the colourful pieces of playdough.
There are several recipes for playdough if you wish to make your own, which can be stored in the fridge for another day. Otherwise, playdough can be purchased in a variety of colors.
A variety of play dough utensils, cookie cutters, small rolling pins etc are a must.
(Beware though, some children love to eat playdough!)
