Pasta craft ideas

Creating art from dried pasta is a great, inexpensive way to keep kids occupied, particularly on a rainy day. With an amazing variety of pasta, dried peas, lentils etc available to us in Supermarkets these days, pictures and textures will never be boring! PVA glue is probably best for this activity, and encouraging kids to paint on small areas of glue, then adding the pasta in small sections, reduces the likelihood of the glue drying too quickly. Good quality, thick cardboard is also best to be able to take the weight of the glue and pasta. Have fun!!
