YOU WILL NEED
- Sheets of colored paper
- Strips of colored paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Fold a sheet of paper in half diagonally. Cut a row of slits along the folded edge being careful not to cut too close to edge.
Unfold the paper. Weave different colored strips of paper over the and under the slits you have made from top to bottom. When finished weaving, glue strips to secure.
To get a diagonal effect, fold the cut the paper as before, then weave different colored strips diagonally through the paper. Try using different widths of paper strips to create a more interesting effect.
