Simple paper crafts are a wonderful, inexpensive way for children to play and develop. It is a good idea to keep a box of different types of paper, pencils, crayons, textas, PVA glue, sicky tape, small scissors etc to be pulled out at any time.
Keep and cut up gift wrapping paper, cards, patty cases, string , crepe paper, cotton wool, fabric straps for the young artist. The end of a roll of butcher paper, which can be purchased cheaply from a newspaper printing factory is always great value and comes in handy for many paper crafts. Collage for example is a technique using each of these materials by gluing, and taping them onto paper to create a picture or story.
You will be suprised at the art work they create!
