Giving children the opportunity to experience music and to participate in making music with their own instruments is such a wonderful experience. It enables children to experience the rhythm of different types of music, to learn movement through dance, to sing and to feel happiness, even at a young age when language skills have not yet been fully developed.
Making musical instruments is fun and cheap as basic household items such as jars, cardboard boxes, empty bottles etc are all able to be recycled into wonderul musical instruments. Put on a childrens music CD and watch them be content and happy making their own music for hours!
