Paper Bag Animal Masks

(Ages 3 and over)

YOU WILL NEED

  • large paper bag
  • pencil
  • texta pens
  • scissors
  • paper glue

Draw 3 holes on the front of the paper bag - one for mouth and two for eyes.

With adult help, cut out holes.

Draw two ears along the top edge of the bag and cut them out. Glue the top edges of the bag together again.

Draw the animal's face on the front of the bag, using textas.  Children can really use their imagination here.

For Leopard as pictured, draw dots over face.  The lion as pictured, cut strips off another paper bag, or other coloured cardboard, and glue onto the sides of mask. Strips can also be glued on top to make a mane.

Other items can be stuck on such as pipe cleaners for whiskers, or anything else. Other easy animals to draw would be cats, horse, dogs etc.
