(All ages)
YOU WILL NEED:
- pencil
- scissors
- brown cardboard
- 5 steel or brass paper fasteners/ binders
- coloured scrap paper, black and pink or any other colour
- plastic eyes
- craft glue
Print off bear pattern. Cut out each of the bear pieces and then trace onto the brown cardboard.
To make the body, trace around a small plate and cut out.
With adult help: Take the fasteners, and push a hole through the cardboard at the edge of circle at the top for the head, 2 holes either side for the arms and 2 at the bottom for the legs.
Push holes through the edge of the head and arms and legs also. Then attach each of the arms, legs and head to the body. Make sure not to fasten too tightly to the bear, or the parts will not 'bounce'.
Cut shapes for ears, eyes, nose and mouth from the coloured paper, and paste to the bears face. You could also add paws in the same coloured paper as well as eyes, using plastic ones and glueing on.
